Qing Dynasty

The Qing Dynasty was like a giant, super-long chapter in China's story. It lasted for over 260 years! The rulers weren't originally from China, but from a place called Manchuria.

They were called Manchus, and they were amazing warriors who knew how to lead. They took over China and became its emperors, bringing their own customs and ways of doing things. It was a time of big changes and powerful rulers!

During the Qing Dynasty, China was ruled by a series of emperors. The most famous one was Emperor Kangxi, who ruled for a super long time, almost as long as your grandparents have been alive! They lived in amazing palaces, like the Forbidden City, which is so big it would take you days to walk through all of it.
