Today, Judea is part of two places: Israel and the West Bank. The name 'Judea' comes from a man named Yehudah, who was one of the sons of Jacob. Jacob was also known as Israel, and his sons started the twelve tribes of Israel.
Yehudah's family became the Tribe of Judah, and that's how the land got its name!
