Imagine a super-energetic person who can be funny, serious, and even sing! That's John Leguizamo. He's an actor, a comedian, and a producer, which means he helps make movies and shows happen. He was born in New York City and has been in over 100 movies! That's more movies than you've had birthdays! He's like a chameleon, changing into all sorts of characters on screen and on stage.

John started out telling jokes on stage in New York City. It was like practicing his superpowers! He worked hard, taking smaller roles in movies and TV shows.

He's been in so many cool movies, from 'Romeo + Juliet' to 'John Wick' and even voiced Sid the Sloth in 'Ice Age'!

John is famous for his stand-up comedy shows that he also turned into TV specials. One of his shows, called 'Freak,' won him a big award called an Emmy! He was the first Latino person ever to win that award for his performance.
