Hydrosere

Have you ever seen a pond or a lake? Hydrosere is like a secret story of how that water place slowly becomes land. It starts with tiny plants floating on the water.

As they grow and then die, they pile up at the bottom, making the water shallower. It’s like building a little island, one plant at a time! Over hundreds and hundreds of years, more plants join in, and the water gets smaller and smaller.
