Humayun

Imagine being a king when you're only 22 years old! That's what happened to Humayun. He became the second emperor of the mighty Mughal Empire, ruling over lands that are now part of countries like India and Afghanistan. He was born a prince and took the throne from his dad, Babur. But being king wasn't always easy, and Humayun had some big adventures during his time as a ruler.

Humayun's story is like a thrilling adventure book! He was the emperor for a while, but then he lost his whole kingdom to a clever rival named Sher Shah Suri. It was like losing all your toys! But Humayun didn't give up. He traveled far away and got help from friends in Persia. After 15 long years, he came back with an army and won his kingdom back. Wow!

When Humayun came back from Persia, he brought lots of new and exciting things with him. Think of it like bringing cool new games back from a trip! The Mughal Empire started to look and feel more Persian.

Beautiful art, amazing buildings, and wonderful stories from Persia became super popular. You can still see old stone carvings and read ancient Persian books in India that were made during Humayun's time.

Even though Humayun had a tough time losing and regaining his kingdom, he did a great job. He made the Mughal Empire even bigger and stronger. When he passed away, his son, Akbar, became the next emperor.

Humayun left behind a really strong empire for his son to rule, and Akbar became one of the most famous Mughal emperors ever! Humayun's story shows us that even when things get tough, you can keep trying.
