Egypt: Land of Pharaohs and Pyramids!

A super, super long time ago, even before your grandparents' grandparents were born, Egypt became one big country! Around 3150 BC, a king named Narmer helped all the little kingdoms join together. For thousands of years, powerful kings called pharaohs ruled Egypt.

They built amazing things like the giant pyramids that are still standing today! It's like they were building with LEGOs, but on a super-duper massive scale.

People have lived in Egypt for ages and ages! They were farmers who grew crops near the Nile River, builders who made incredible monuments, and clever thinkers. They had their own special way of writing called hieroglyphics, which used pictures instead of letters.

In 1953, Egypt became a republic, meaning the people got to choose their leaders. Today, Egypt is a busy country with lots of people working in different jobs, from farming to tourism, sharing their amazing history with the world.
