Frederick III, Elector of Saxony

Imagine a prince named Frederick who lived a long, long time ago, from 1463 to 1525. He was called 'Frederick the Wise' because he was a very smart leader. He was in charge of a place called Saxony, like being the principal of a big school!

Frederick was a prince-elector, which meant he was super important and helped choose the next big boss of the whole land. He had a special job and lots of power, but he also cared about fairness for the people living in his lands.
