Flag of Argentina

Imagine a flag that looks like a beautiful sky! Argentina's flag has three stripes. The top and bottom stripes are a bright sky blue, and the middle stripe is white, like fluffy clouds. A super smart man named Manuel Belgrano created this flag a long, long time ago, during a big fight for Argentina's freedom. He wanted a special symbol for his country. First, he made a blue and white badge, and then he thought, 'Let's make a flag just like it!' He first showed it off in a city called Rosario.

It was so special that later, a big meeting of important people officially decided it would be Argentina's flag forever!

Did you know there are actually two versions of Argentina's flag? One has the golden Sun of May in the middle, and it's called the Official Ceremonial Flag. This is the one used for very important events. The other flag is just the blue and white stripes, and it's called the Ornamental Flag. Even though it looks simpler, it's still a very important flag for Argentina!
