Where is This Awesome Place?

Exposition Park is a super big park in sunny Los Angeles, California. It's like a giant playground that's 160 acres big! That's almost as big as 30 football fields!

It's surrounded by streets named Exposition Boulevard, South Figueroa Street, Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, and Vermont Avenue. It's right next to a big university called the University of Southern California, so there are lots of smart people around!

From Farms to Fun!

This park wasn't always full of museums and stadiums. A long, long time ago, in 1872, it was a place for farmers to show off their best crops and animals. Can you imagine a giant farm right where the park is now? Over time, it changed and grew into the amazing place it is today, with exciting buildings for everyone to explore and enjoy.

Inside Exposition Park, there are incredible places to visit! There's the California Science Center, where you can learn about rockets and space. The Natural History Museum has dinosaurs and sparkling gems. You can also see amazing sports stadiums like the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, where athletes compete. It's like a treasure chest of fun and learning!

A Park for Big Games!

Guess what? Exposition Park has been a special place for the Olympic Games, not just once, but twice! It was the Olympic Park in 1932 and again in 1984. And guess what else? It's going to be the Olympic Park again in 2028! That means athletes from all over the world will come here to show off their amazing skills. It's a truly international spot!
