David Scott is a super cool astronaut who actually walked on the Moon! He was the seventh person ever to do it. That's like being the seventh person to climb the tallest playground slide in the world! He flew on a special mission called Apollo 15. He also flew in other amazing rockets before that. He's a real-life space adventurer!

From School to Space!

Before becoming an astronaut, David Scott went to a special school called West Point. Then, he joined the Air Force and became a pilot, flying fast jets! He learned how to fly all sorts of amazing planes. After that, he trained to become an astronaut, which is even harder! He spent thousands of hours flying before he even went to space.

Adventures in Space!

David Scott went to space three times! His first trip was on a Gemini mission with Neil Armstrong, the first person on the Moon. His second trip was on Apollo 9, where they tested out the spaceship that would go to the Moon. His most famous trip was Apollo 15, where he and his friend James Irwin spent three whole days on the Moon!
