Crucifixion of Jesus

Imagine a very sad day long, long ago. Jesus was put on a big wooden cross. This was a way people were punished back then. Soldiers put nails through his hands and feet. It was a very difficult time. This event is called the crucifixion. It happened in a place called Judea, a very long time ago, around 2,000 years ago!
