Imagine a queen who ruled a whole country a super long time ago! That was Cleopatra. She was the last queen of Egypt, and she was very, very smart.

She could even speak many different languages, like a super-spy! She was born in a big city called Alexandria, which was like the New York City of her time. Her family had ruled Egypt for hundreds of years, but Cleopatra was the very last one to wear the crown.

Cleopatra was friends with some of the most powerful men in the world, like Julius Caesar and Mark Antony. These were like the presidents of Rome! She met Caesar when he came to Egypt, and they even had a son together named Caesarion. Later, she became very close with Mark Antony. They had three children! It was like having playdates with the most important people in the whole world.

Cleopatra's life was full of drama and adventure. She had to fight with her own brother to become queen! Then, she sailed to Rome to meet Julius Caesar. She even lived in his fancy house for a while. After Caesar died, she worked with Mark Antony. They had big plans, but things got complicated with another Roman leader named Octavian. It was like a big, real-life game of thrones!

Even though Cleopatra lived so long ago, we still talk about her today! She was so famous that artists painted her pictures, made statues of her, and even put her face on coins. She's like a superstar from history. People still make movies and books about her because her story is so exciting and full of twists and turns. She really knew how to make a mark on the world!
