The Big Fight for Fairness!

The Civil Rights Movement was a super important time in history when many people worked together to make sure everyone was treated equally. This amazing movement really got going in the 1950s and 1960s. Before that, for a very long time, Black people in America were treated very unfairly. They had to go to different schools, drink from different water fountains, and couldn't sit wherever they wanted on buses.

It was like playing a game where the rules were rigged against them! Brave people decided enough was enough and started to speak up and protest to change these unfair rules.
