Where Two Rivers Hug!

Ciudad Guayana is a super cool city in Venezuela, a country far away. It sits right where two big rivers, the Orinoco and the Caroní, come together. The Caroní River even splits the city in two, like a watery road!

One part is the old town called San Félix, and the other is the newer, modern part called Puerto Ordaz. It's a busy place, stretching out along the riverbank for a long, long way, about as long as 40 soccer fields in a line!

Waterfalls and Bridges Galore!

Guess what? This city has its own waterfalls right inside it! Cachamay Falls and Llovizna Falls are beautiful places where the water tumbles down.

To get around, people use bridges. There are three bridges just for crossing the Caroní River, and one HUGE bridge, called the Orinoquia Bridge, that goes over the mighty Orinoco River. It's like a giant highway for cars and trucks, connecting different parts of the country!

A City That Grows Fast!

Ciudad Guayana is one of the fastest-growing cities in Venezuela. Lots of people live here, almost as many as in a very big school! Why do people move here?

Because it's a place with important jobs. They make things like iron, steel, and aluminum, which are used to build cars, buildings, and lots of other stuff. It's also a big shipping spot, where boats can easily pick up and drop off goods from all over the world.

Homes Like in the Movies!

When this city was being built a long time ago, some people from America helped design it. That's why some neighborhoods look a bit like towns in the United States, with neat houses, sidewalks, and tidy lawns. It's like they brought a little piece of America to Venezuela!

Famous people, like movie directors and even presidents, have visited this special city because it's so interesting and beautiful.
