Meet Queen Esther!

Once upon a time, in a faraway land called Persia, lived a kind Jewish girl named Hadassah. She had to keep her Jewish heritage a secret! One day, the king needed a new queen, and Hadassah was chosen. She took the name Esther and became the queen! She was beautiful and smart, but she also had a big secret that would soon be very important.

A Scary Plot!

The king had a mean advisor named Haman who hated Esther's cousin, Mordecai, because he wouldn't bow down to him. Haman made a wicked plan to get rid of all the Jewish people in the whole kingdom! He convinced the king to sign a law that said all Jews had to be killed. This was a very sad and scary time for Esther and her people.

Esther's Brave Choice!

Mordecai told Esther about Haman's terrible plan. Esther was scared because talking to the king without being called could mean she'd be in big trouble, even lose her life! But she knew she had to do something. She decided to be very brave and go to the king to ask him to save her people. She was a true hero!

Saving the Day!

Esther bravely went to the king and told him everything. She revealed that she was Jewish and that Haman wanted to hurt her and her people. The king was very angry with Haman! He stopped Haman's evil plan and made sure the Jewish people were safe. Everyone celebrated, and a special holiday called Purim was created to remember Esther's courage.
