Baldassare was a master builder, like a super-architect! He worked on one of the most famous buildings in the world, St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. It's so big, it’s like building a whole town! He also designed a giant dam, which is like a huge wall to hold back water, for a river. He was also a painter, creating beautiful pictures on church walls called frescoes.

A Family of Artists!

Baldassare's talents ran in the family! His son, Giovanni, also became an architect, helping to design buildings. Another son, Onorio, learned to paint from his dad. Even though he became a priest, he was asked to paint again for a church. It shows that creativity can be passed down through generations, just like sharing your favorite toys!
