Alexei Kosygin

Alexei Kosygin was born a long, long time ago, in 1904, in a big city called Saint Petersburg. This city is in a country called Russia, which is super enormous, like a giant playground that stretches across a lot of the world! When he was a kid, Russia was a very different place, and he grew up in a family where his parents worked hard.

When Alexei grew up, he had many important jobs. He was like a manager for big factories, making sure things were made. Later, he became a very important leader in the government, kind of like the principal of a giant school! He was in charge of how the country was run, especially making sure everyone had what they needed.

For many years, Alexei Kosygin was one of the top leaders of the Soviet Union. This was a time when he helped make big decisions about the country's money and how it got along with other countries. He was like the captain of a huge ship, steering it through tricky waters for a long time.

Alexei worked hard his whole life. He even helped move factories during a big war so they wouldn't get hurt. He was a very busy person, always thinking about how to help his country. He retired when he was quite old and passed away in 1980, after a life full of important work.
