Akdamar Island

Imagine an island, but not in the ocean! Akdamar Island is the second-biggest island in a huge lake called Lake Van, way over in Turkey. It's like a secret hideaway, only about 3 kilometers (that's like walking across 3 big football fields!) from the land.
