Imagine a super determined leader named Agha Mohammad Khan. He was born a long, long time ago, in 1742. He was like the boss of a big group of people called the Qajar tribe.

Agha Mohammad Khan was so strong-willed that he managed to unite a whole country, Iran, and became its king! He was crowned 'King of Kings' because he was so important. He was a bit like a superhero who brought everyone together.

His Big Adventure to Unite Iran!

Agha Mohammad Khan had a huge mission: to make Iran one big, happy country again. It was like putting together a giant puzzle! He traveled all over, leading his soldiers and making sure everyone followed him.

This took many years, from 1779 to 1796. After all his hard work, he was finally crowned the king in 1789. He was so successful that he started a new royal family, the Qajar dynasty, which ruled for a long time!

Agha Mohammad Khan did something amazing: he made Iran a strong, united country again. Before him, it was a bit scattered. He also picked a special city called Tehran to be the capital, and guess what? It's still the capital of Iran today! He was a very clever leader, but he could also be very tough. A King's Special City and a Sad Ending

When Agha Mohammad Khan became king, he decided that Tehran would be the most important city, the capital. He moved his royal palace there, and it became the center of his kingdom. Even though he was a powerful king, his life ended sadly. He was assassinated in 1797, meaning he was killed. But his legacy lived on, and his nephew took over as the next king.
