Where is South Korea?

South Korea is a cool country in Asia, like a big peninsula sticking out into the ocean. It has mountains that look like giant green waves and busy cities with super tall buildings! The weather can be hot and rainy in the summer, and cold and snowy in the winter, perfect for building snow forts! It's a place full of amazing sights and sounds, from bustling markets to peaceful temples.

Who Gets to Be the Leader?

In South Korea, grown-ups get to choose their leader, called the President. It's like picking the captain of your soccer team! This election was extra special because the old leader had to leave early. So, everyone had to vote again sooner than planned! It was a big decision for the country, and lots of people showed up to vote, like a huge school assembly!

The Race for President!

Three main people wanted to be President: Lee Jae Myung, Kim Moon-soo, and Lee Jun-seok. They all talked about what they would do to make South Korea even better. They talked about jobs, homes, and making sure everyone is happy. It was like a friendly competition, but with really important ideas for the whole country. In the end, Lee Jae Myung won the most votes!

Why Voting is Super Important!

Voting is like giving your voice to help decide things. When people vote, they are saying what they think is best for their country. In this election, almost 80 out of every 100 grown-ups voted! That's a LOT of people! It shows how much they care about who leads them and how their country will grow. It's a way for everyone to be a part of making history!
