Wu Daozi

Imagine a super-duper artist named Wu Daozi who lived a very, very long time ago, way back when China had emperors! He was so good at painting that people still talk about him today. Wu Daozi didn't start out rich. His dad passed away when he was little, and he didn't have much. But he was super determined! He first learned to write beautiful letters, like fancy handwriting, from other famous teachers. Then, he decided painting was his real passion. He worked hard and became one of the most famous painters ever!

Wu Daozi had special ways of painting that made his pictures look so real. He used special brush strokes that made clothes look like they were flowing in the wind. He was also one of the first artists to make beautiful pictures of mountains, rivers, and trees, which we call landscapes. His art was like a window into another world!
