William of Rubruck

William of Rubruck was a curious man who lived a very long time ago, around 800 years back! He was a Franciscan missionary, which means he was part of a group that traveled to share their beliefs. He was also a friend to the King of France, who asked him to go on a very special and dangerous trip. William loved to explore and learn about new places and people, even if they were super far away!
