Wesleyan University

Wesleyan University is like a special town for learning, tucked away in Middletown, Connecticut. It's a place where students go to discover new things and become super smart! Think of it as a big, beautiful campus with lots of buildings for classes and fun activities. It’s not a city with lots of houses, but a place focused on learning and growing.

Wesleyan University started a super long time ago, in 1831! Back then, it was only for boys and was connected to the Methodist church. But guess what? Over time, it changed! It became a place for everyone, boys and girls, to learn together. It even helped start another college for girls before it became fully coed in 1970. That's a lot of history!

Wesleyan is part of a special club with two other colleges, Amherst and Williams. They call themselves 'The Little Three'! It's like having best friends at other schools. Students at Wesleyan also love sports! Their teams play in fun games, just like you might play at school or on a playground. It’s a place with lots of spirit and teamwork.

At Wesleyan, the main thing everyone does is learn! They study all sorts of cool subjects, from science and math to art and history. It's a place where students get to ask tons of questions and find answers. They learn to think in new ways and get ready for exciting futures. It’s all about exploring your brain and discovering what you love!
