A Brother's Tale!

Warren Lewis was born a long, long time ago in Ireland. He was the older brother of C.S. Lewis, who wrote the amazing Narnia books! Imagine having a brother who wrote stories about talking lions and magical lands. Warren loved history, which is like reading stories about the past. He also worked in the army, helping to make sure soldiers had what they needed. He was a very important helper!

Adventures in the Army and Beyond!

When Warren was a young man, he joined the British Army. He helped with supplies, which means he made sure soldiers had food, clothes, and everything else to do their jobs. This was during a big war called World War I. After the war, he stopped being a soldier and went to live with his brother in a city called Oxford. It was like moving to a new school, but he was all grown up!

The Super Secret 'Inklings' Club!

In Oxford, Warren and his brother C.S. Lewis, along with some friends, started a special club called the 'Inklings'. They weren't superheroes, but they were super smart!

They met to talk about books, share their own writing, and discuss big ideas. It was like a book club, but even cooler because they were all friends who loved stories and learning together. This club helped C.S.

A History Detective!

Even though he was busy with the army and the Inklings, Warren Lewis loved to learn about history, especially the history of France. He wrote books about it, sharing all the amazing things he discovered. He was like a detective, digging into the past to find out how people lived and what happened.

He also helped his brother C.S. Lewis a lot, especially when C.S. Lewis got older.
