Wari culture

Long, long ago, in a land called Peru, lived a super interesting group of people called the Wari. They were like ancient builders and artists! They lived in big cities and made cool things. The Wari were a very important civilization in South America. They were around for a long time, from about 600 to 1100 AD. That's a super long time ago, even before castles were built in Europe!

The Wari built enormous cities, some as big as many football fields put together! Their capital city, also called Wari, was huge. It had thousands of people living there.

They built big stone buildings and even had special places for ceremonies. Imagine a city where everyone worked together to build amazing homes and important places. These cities were like busy, bustling towns from a long, long time ago.

The Wari were amazing artists! They made beautiful pottery, like bowls and jars, decorated with colorful designs. They also wove incredible textiles, which are like fancy cloth. These cloths were so good, they are still around today! They used bright colors and patterns that told stories. Some of their art was made with gold and silver, showing they were very skilled craftspeople.

Even though the Wari civilization ended a long time ago, we still learn from them. They showed us how to build big cities and create beautiful art.
