Vistafjord

The Vistafjord was a super-duper big ship, like a floating hotel that traveled across the ocean! It was built a long, long time ago, in 1973, in England. Think of it as a giant bathtub for people to have amazing adventures on. It wasn't just for going to one place; it was designed to be a comfy home away from home as it sailed to different countries.

This amazing ship had a very long life and changed its name a few times! First, it was called Vistafjord. Then, it was bought by a new company and became the Caronia. Later, it was known as Saga Ruby, like a precious gem sailing the waves. It even had a plan to become a floating hotel called Oasia, but that didn't happen. It was like a ship playing dress-up with different names!

The Vistafjord was built in England, a country famous for its ships. It was made for a Norwegian company, so it sailed for people from Norway and all over the world. It traveled on the big, blue ocean, taking passengers on exciting journeys. Imagine sailing past dolphins and seeing new lands appear on the horizon – that's what the Vistafjord did!

After many years of sailing and adventures, the Vistafjord's journey came to an end. In 2017, it arrived at a special place in India called a ship breaking yard. This is where old ships go to be taken apart so their materials can be used to build new things. Even though it's no longer sailing, the Vistafjord had many wonderful stories to tell from its time on the sea.
