Uno (card game)

Imagine a deck of cards, but way more colorful and exciting! Uno is a game where you try to be the first player to get rid of all your cards. You do this by matching the card on top of the pile with a card from your hand. It could be the same color or the same number. It's like a puzzle, but with cards!

It's super easy to learn! Everyone gets a hand of cards, and one card starts the discard pile. On your turn, you look for a card in your hand that matches the top card. If you have a red 7 and the top card is a red 3, you can play it! If you don't have a match, you have to draw a card. But watch out for special cards like Skip, Reverse, and Draw Two – they can change everything!

Believe it or not, Uno wasn't always around! A man named Merle Robbins invented it way back in 1971. He loved card games and wanted to create something new and fun for families. He made the first Uno deck himself! Later, a big toy company called Mattel bought the game, and now people all over the world play it. It's like a card game superstar!

All you need to play Uno is a special Uno deck of cards. These cards are different from regular playing cards. They have numbers, colors, and those super cool action cards like 'Skip' (which makes the next player miss their turn) and 'Draw Two' (which makes them pick up two cards!). You also need at least two players, but it's even more fun with a big group!
