The Wild Robot

Imagine a robot named Roz that wakes up all alone on a beautiful, wild island. She doesn't know how she got there! Roz is a special robot, kind of like a super-smart helper. This amazing story started as a book written by Peter Brown. Then, a big movie company called DreamWorks Animation saw how cool it was! They decided to make it into a movie. The people who made the movie wanted it to look like a beautiful painting, with soft colors like your favorite storybooks. It took them a long, long time to make it perfect, about four years!

The most surprising thing about Roz is that she becomes a mom! She finds a baby goose that has lost its family. Even though she's a robot, she learns to take care of the little goose. She protects it, feeds it, and teaches it how to fly. It's like a robot learning to be a super-mom, which is a really big and important job!

The movie about Roz was a HUGE success! People loved it so much that it won lots of shiny awards. It even won nine awards called Annie Awards, which are like the Oscars for cartoons! It was also nominated for three Academy Awards, which are super famous movie prizes. This means lots of people thought it was one of the best movies ever made!
