Suharto

Imagine a very important person who was in charge of a whole country called Indonesia for a super long time, about 32 years! That was Suharto. He was born a long, long time ago, in 1921. He became the second president of Indonesia and helped shape the country's story. He was like the main character in a big adventure book for Indonesia!

Suharto's main job was being the leader, or president, of Indonesia. He started this big job in 1967 and stayed president until 1998.
