Seth Peterson Cottage

Welcome to the Seth Peterson Cottage! It's a cozy little house nestled in Mirror Lake State Park in Wisconsin. Think of it as a special hideaway, not much bigger than a classroom.

It was designed by a very famous architect named Frank Lloyd Wright, who was like a wizard of buildings. This cottage is one of his last amazing creations, built for a man named Seth Peterson. It has big windows that let in lots of sunshine and a roof that slopes like a gentle hill.

Building this cottage started a long, long time ago, in 1959! But sadly, Seth Peterson, the person it was for, passed away before it was all done. Then, another family, the Pritchards, came along and finished building it.

Later, the park people bought it to make the park even bigger. For a while, the cottage was a bit forgotten and needed some love. But then, a kind lady named Audrey Laatsch started a group to fix it up, and now it's a special place for everyone to visit!

This cottage is super special because it was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, a really famous architect whose buildings are like works of art.
