Sara Duterte

Sara Duterte, also called Inday Sara, is a lawyer and a very busy politician in the Philippines. She was born on May 31, 1978. Imagine a busy playground, and she's one of the main people making sure everything runs smoothly!

She's the third woman to become Vice President, which is a really big job. She's also the youngest person ever to hold this important position in the Philippines. That's like being the youngest captain of a school bus fleet!

Before becoming Vice President, Sara was the mayor of Davao City, a very large city. She was the mayor for many years, from 2010 to 2013 and then again from 2016 to 2022. That's like being the principal of a huge school for a long time!

She even followed in her dad's footsteps, as he was also a president. She was the first female mayor of Davao City, which is super cool. She also helped start programs to make the city better and safe, especially during a time when everyone was worried about a sickness called COVID-19.
