That means it's older than your great-great-great-grandparents! Imagine all the knights and kings who might have walked its halls. It’s so big, it would take a long time to explore every single room and tower.

Did you know Salzburg is the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart? He was a musical genius who wrote amazing music when he was just a little kid, like you! His music is still played all over the world today. Salzburg loves music so much that it has lots of concerts and festivals. It’s like the whole city is a giant music party sometimes, celebrating Mozart and other wonderful sounds.

It’s like a giant art gallery made of stone and plaster. The city is also a very popular place for tourists to visit and explore its history and beauty.
