Rumeysa Gelgi

Imagine being so tall that you're taller than a school bus! That's Rumeysa Gelgi. She was born in 1997 and is recognized by Guinness World Records as the tallest living woman. She's so tall, she needs special help to do everyday things. But she's also super strong and has a big heart!

Rumeysa's amazing height is because of something called Weaver syndrome. It makes people grow very, very fast. Because she's so tall, Rumeysa often uses a wheelchair to get around. But she can also walk short distances with a special walker. She's a true inspiration!

Rumeysa doesn't just hold one record, she holds many! She has the longest fingers, the widest hand span, and even the longest ears for a woman. She also used to be the tallest teenager. It’s like she’s a real-life superhero with lots of amazing records!

Once, Rumeysa flew on an airplane for the very first time! The airline had to make a special seat for her, stretching across many rows. She also met Jyoti Amge, who is the shortest woman in the world. They met to celebrate Guinness World Records Day!
