Royal Cambodian Armed Forces

Imagine a team of brave people whose job is to protect their whole country! That's the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, or RCAF for short. They are like the guardians of Cambodia. Their boss is the King, King Norodom Sihamoni! They have different parts, like an Army, a Navy for the water, and an Air Force for the sky. They all work together to keep Cambodia safe and sound.

The RCAF wasn't always one big team. A long time ago, there were different groups of soldiers. In 1993, these groups decided to join forces and become one big, strong team. It was like when different playground groups decide to play together to build the best fort ever! They brought together soldiers from different backgrounds to create a united force for Cambodia.

The RCAF has a very important job: to protect Cambodia's borders and make sure everyone is safe. They are like the big brothers and sisters of the country, watching out for any trouble. Their main goal is to keep Cambodia's land and people secure. This means they are always ready to help and defend their home.

The King of Cambodia is the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, which means he's the ultimate leader! The RCAF also has a Commander-in-Chief, General Vong Pisen, who leads the Army, Navy, and Air Force. They all follow the rules and work under a special government department called the Ministry of National Defence. This helps make sure everything is organized and everyone knows their job.
