Raymond Poincaré

Raymond Poincaré was a very important person in France a long time ago. He was born in a town called Bar-le-Duc in 1860. He was like a captain of a big ship, guiding France through tricky times.

He was so brave and strong that people called him 'Le Lion', which means 'The Lion' in French! He was President of France from 1913 to 1920, which is a super long time. He also became Prime Minister three times, which is like being the main boss of the government more than once!
