Qin Shi Huang

Imagine a boy named Ying Zheng who lived a long, long time ago in China. He wasn't just any kid; he was born to be a king! When he grew up, he became King Zheng of Qin. But he wanted to be even more important. So, he decided to call himself 'Emperor,' which was a brand new title for China. He was the very first one to be called Emperor Qin Shi Huang!

Before Qin Shi Huang, China was like a playground with many different groups fighting over who got to play where. He was a super strong leader, and his armies were amazing! He fought and won against all the other groups, bringing all of China together under his rule. It was like winning every game on the playground and making everyone play by the same rules.

Qin Shi Huang loved building! He took all the old walls that separated different parts of China and connected them to make one GIANT wall – the Great Wall of China! It was so long, it would take you months to walk it. He also built amazing roads all over the country. And get this, he even built a whole army of clay soldiers, as big as real people, to guard his tomb!

Even though he was a strict ruler, Qin Shi Huang changed China forever. He made sure everyone used the same money, wrote the same way, and followed the same laws. This made China stronger and easier to manage. The title of Emperor he created was used for over 2,000 years! His ideas and the things he built still make us think about him today.
