Princeton, New Jersey

Princeton is a special town in New Jersey, a state in the United States. It's like a secret spot tucked away, but not too far from two of the biggest cities you might have heard of: New York City and Philadelphia. Think of it like being in the middle of a giant playground, with two awesome play areas nearby!

Princeton is famous for having a super-duper smart university called Princeton University. It's been there for a very, very long time, since before your great-great-great-grandparents were even born! Lots of brilliant people go there to learn and discover new things, making the town feel extra special and full of clever ideas.

Princeton used to be two towns that decided to become one big happy town in 2013. Before that, they were like best friends who lived next door but had their own houses. Now, they share everything, making Princeton a friendly place with lots of people living there, almost as many as in a big school!

Guess what? The governor, who is like the leader of New Jersey, has a special house in Princeton! It's a really old and beautiful house called Drumthwacket. It's so big, it's like having a mansion on a playground. Sometimes the governor lives there, and sometimes it's a museum for people to visit.
