Pig (card game)

It's so popular that it has cousins, like games called Donkey and Spoons, which are played in a very similar way.

Pig is awesome because it’s all about being quick and paying attention! The most exciting part is when someone gets four of a kind and everyone has to race to grab a 'pig'. If you don't get one, you get a letter from the word P-I-G. It’s a race against your friends, and you have to be super fast to avoid getting a letter! It’s a game that makes you laugh and cheer.

To play Pig, you need a deck of cards and at least three friends. One person is the dealer, and they pass out cards until everyone has the same amount. Then, the dealer starts passing cards to the person on their left.

Everyone collects cards, trying to get four of the same kind. When someone gets four of a kind, they secretly put their hand on their nose (that's the 'pig' action!). Everyone else must quickly copy them and put their hand on their nose too!
