Phil Hartman

Imagine a comedian who could do tons of different voices and characters! That was Phil Hartman. He was born in a place called Brantford, Canada, and later moved to the United States. Phil loved to make people laugh, and he was really good at it! He was like a superhero of comedy, using his amazing talent to bring joy to so many people.

Before Phil was a famous comedian, he was a super talented artist! He could draw amazing pictures and even designed cool album covers for music bands. Then, he joined a comedy group where he helped create the silly character Pee-wee Herman. You might remember Pee-wee's Playhouse! Phil was also on a famous TV show called Saturday Night Live, where he played lots of different funny people.

Phil Hartman was on Saturday Night Live for eight whole years! That's longer than you've been in school! People called him 'Glue' because he was so good at making the show work and helping other actors. He even won a big award for his funny work! He also did voices for characters on The Simpsons, like Lionel Hutz and Troy McClure. He was in movies too, like Jingle All the Way!

Even though Phil Hartman is not with us anymore, his funny movies and TV shows still make us laugh. He was loved by everyone he worked with. He's remembered as a kind and talented person who brought so much happiness. Canada even has a special Walk of Fame for him, like a sidewalk with stars, to honor his amazing career.
