Peter Kropotkin

Peter Kropotkin was born a prince in Russia a long, long time ago, in 1842! But he wasn't like other princes who just stayed in castles. Peter loved exploring!

He became a geographer, which means he studied the Earth, its mountains, and its rivers. He even traveled to faraway places like Siberia, which is a huge, cold part of Russia. He was super curious about how everything worked in nature and in the world.

Peter believed that people should work together and help each other, like a team. Because he shared these ideas, some people in power didn't like him. They even put him in jail!

But Peter was clever and brave. He managed to escape from prison and lived in other countries like Switzerland and France for many years. He kept writing books and giving talks, sharing his ideas about fairness and cooperation with everyone he met.

Peter thought that the best way for people to live was by helping each other, not by having one boss tell everyone what to do. He wrote a famous book called 'Mutual Aid' where he showed how animals and people often help each other to survive. He believed that if communities worked together, sharing jobs and resources, everyone could be happier and have what they need.
