Order of the Seraphim

The Order of the Seraphim is like the most important club in Sweden, created a super long time ago by a king! It's named after Seraphim, which are a type of angel. People who are part of this order get a special medal. It's the highest honor you can get in Sweden, like getting the biggest gold star in school! Only very special people are invited to join this amazing group.

This special order began way back in 1748, which is even older than your grandparents' grandparents! King Frederick I started it along with two other orders, like starting three new games at once. For a long time, only men could be knights, but now things have changed, and everyone can be a part of it. It’s like a club that’s been around forever but keeps getting cooler!

Being part of the Order of the Seraphim means you're super respected. In the olden days, the knights had a job to help take care of big hospitals, especially one called the Seraphim Hospital.
