National Palace Museum

The National Palace Museum is like a super-duper big house for amazing old things from China. It's not just one building, but a whole collection of treasures! It started a long, long time ago in 1925, and now it has a main home in Taipei, Taiwan.

Think of it as a giant library, but instead of books, it has nearly 700,000 incredible artworks and ancient objects. That's more than enough to fill many, many classrooms!

Most of these amazing treasures were once kept in the Forbidden City, which was like a giant palace for emperors in Beijing. When the government moved to Taiwan a long time ago, they carefully brought these precious items with them to keep them safe. They were kept in different places for a while until the museum in Taipei was ready to welcome them home.
