The story of this faith starts a long, long time ago with a young boy named Joseph Smith. He was looking for answers about God. He said he had amazing visions!

One vision was of God and Jesus, who told him to start a new church. Later, he found golden plates with ancient writings. He translated these writings, and that became the Book of Mormon.

This happened in America, and the church grew from there, spreading its message around the world.

What makes this faith special? Well, members believe they are all part of God's family and should help each other. They have missionaries, like friendly travelers, who go to different places to share their beliefs.

They also have big family gatherings and love to learn about their ancestors. They believe in living a healthy life, which includes not drinking coffee or tea! They also believe in being kind and honest, which are great things for everyone to do.

The temples are super important! They are not like regular churches where people go every Sunday. Temples are special buildings for very sacred ceremonies, like eternal marriages.

There are many temples all over the world, and they look like beautiful palaces! Did you know that many members also have family trees to learn about their grandparents and great-grandparents? They believe families can be together forever.
