Meg White

Imagine a drummer who hits the drums with so much energy, it's like a thunderclap! That was Meg White. She was the drummer for a famous band called The White Stripes. She didn't just hit the drums; she made them sing and roar! She also sang sometimes, like in a song called 'In the Cold, Cold Night.' She was a big part of what made The White Stripes so special and fun to listen to.

Before Meg was a rockstar, she worked as a chef, making yummy food! She was born in a place called Grosse Pointe Farms in Michigan. She met Jack White, and they got married.

Then, in 1997, she started playing the drums and formed The White Stripes with him. Even though they got divorced later, they kept making music together because Meg loved it so much! They even pretended to be brother and sister to keep things simple.

The White Stripes became super famous all over the world! Their album 'White Blood Cells' was a huge hit. Meg was known for her drumming style, which was simple but powerful.
