Matthias Corvinus: The Raven King!

Matthias Corvinus was born a long, long time ago, in 1443! He became the King of Hungary when he was just a young man. But Matthias wasn't like other kings who only cared about fighting.

He absolutely LOVED books! He collected so many amazing books that his library was one of the biggest and best in the whole world back then. It was like having a giant, super-cool school library filled with stories and knowledge!

Even though Matthias loved books, he was also a brave warrior! He had a special army called the 'Black Army' that was super strong and helped him win many battles. He was so good at fighting that he even became the King of Bohemia and Austria too!

He was like a superhero king, protecting his people and making his country bigger and stronger. He was born in Kolozsvár, Hungary, which is now called Cluj-Napoca in Romania.

Matthias Corvinus was super smart and fair. He made new laws to help the poor people and made sure everyone was treated kindly. He also brought artists and scientists to his kingdom, making it a place full of amazing ideas and beautiful art. He wanted everyone to learn and be happy. He was so important that people still talk about him today as one of Hungary's greatest kings!
