London station group

The London station group is like a special club for 18 big train stations right in the middle of London, England. Think of it as a super-duper train hub! All these stations are in the very center of London, in an area called 'fare zone 1'.

It's like the heart of the city where all the important train lines meet. If you have a special ticket called 'London Terminals', you can travel to any of these stations!

A long, long time ago, around the time your great-great-great-grandparents were kids, trains became super popular! Big companies built these stations, but they were all separate and a bit far apart. It was too expensive to build them right in the middle of the city. So, they built them around the edges. Later, the underground trains helped connect them all, like magic tunnels!

These stations are like giant gateways to exciting places! Some are where long journeys start, and others are for zipping around the city. They've been made bigger and better over the years. The very first one, London Bridge, has been rebuilt many times! It's amazing how these places have changed from when they were first built, with only two of the old ones closing down.
