London Borough of Harrow

Imagine a big puzzle piece in the northwest corner of London! That's Harrow. It's like a friendly neighbor to other parts of London, like Barnet, Brent, Ealing, and Hillingdon.

It also has neighbors outside of London, in a place called Hertfordshire. Harrow is made up of three main towns: Harrow itself, Pinner, and Stanmore. It also includes a bit of Edgware.

It’s a place with lots of different neighborhoods all joined together.

Harrow wasn't always called Harrow! A long, long time ago, the land was shaped by ancient roads. The town we know today started to form with clear boundaries around 1934. Then, in 1965, it officially became the London Borough of Harrow. Think of it like a birthday when all the parts officially came together to celebrate being one big area. It’s a place that has grown and changed over many years.

Harrow is a mix of busy towns and quieter places. It's a place where lots of different people live and work. People in Harrow speak many languages, which makes it a colorful and interesting place.
