Iran's Amazing Treasure Chests!

Imagine a giant map of the world! Iran is a big country in the middle of it all. These special places are scattered across Iran, some are in big cities, and others are in quiet, faraway spots. They are like hidden gems waiting for you to find them. Some are ancient buildings, and others are natural wonders that are super beautiful!

A very important group called UNESCO helps choose these treasures. They travel the world looking for places that are super important for history or nature. Iran joined their special club a long time ago, in 1975. Since then, they've found 29 amazing places in Iran that UNESCO said, 'Wow, these are special!'

Some of these places are like giant storybooks! Like Persepolis, which was a huge palace for kings a super long time ago. Or Tchogha Zanbil, a giant ancient temple that looks like a giant step pyramid! These places show us how people lived and built amazing things way before we were even born. They are like time machines!

Every year, UNESCO might add more special places to the list. Iran has already added some very new treasures, like ancient sites in a valley called Khorramabad. It’s like a treasure hunt, and Iran has so many amazing things to show off to everyone!
