Lifting boss

Have you ever seen a really big rock? Imagine trying to move it! Long ago, builders had a super clever trick. They would leave little bumps, called lifting bosses, on the sides of giant stones. These bumps were like built-in handles! Builders could tie ropes around them or use long poles to push and pull. It made moving huge stones much easier, almost like they had superpowers!
