The Amazing Licchavi Kingdom!

The Licchavi were a really important group of people who lived in a place called Nepal, a long, long time ago. They were like the kings and queens of their land, ruling from a city called Kathmandu. They were known for being very clever and for building amazing things. Think of them as the rock stars of ancient Nepal, famous for their smarts and their art!

The Licchavi ruled for about 600 years, from around 400 AD to 1000 AD. That’s a super long time, way longer than you’ve been alive! During this time, they made Nepal a very special place. They built beautiful temples and statues that are still around today. It was a golden age, meaning everything was awesome and people were happy and creative.

The Licchavi were famous for their art and buildings. They made incredible stone carvings and metal statues that showed off their amazing skills.
